Toth, The sage of the Wasteland

For the past two months, I have been taking a 2D and 3D art course for video games at the EOI, and this is the result. I went through the entire process of creating a character in 2D, then translating it to 3D, and finally animating it. With this course, I consolidated all the knowledge I lacked in Blender and learned to use Substance 3D Painter and 3DS Max.
The story of Thoth, the character I created, is that of an ancient robot, a living relic of the war between AI and humans, and one of the first human-machine hybrids. Modeled after a gorilla, Thoth was an imposing soldier capable of lifting tanks and destroying walls with his powerful limbs. However, the brutality and horror of the conflict left a painful mark on his human consciousness, which gradually became aware of the conflict and began to flee from it.
At the end of the war, Thoth decided to leave the battlefield and headed to the outskirts of a large ruined city, where he lived as a nomad among the remnants of his past. His eyes were torn out in an act of pain and terror so he would no longer have to witness the terrible consequences of the war. Blind and solitary, he found new ways to express himself. As blood continued to flow from the empty, ravaged sockets, Thoth painted murals on the walls and fortifications near the city. These cavernous paintings are not only a reminder of pre-war civilization but also a testament to his suffering and a warning to future generations of robots.
Every trace of blood tells a story of destruction, hope, and redemption. Despite his terrifying appearance, Thoth possesses a deep humanity. His human heart still beats strongly, an anchor that keeps him connected to his emotions and memories, with the hope that future robots will not repeat the same mistakes he witnessed.
