Bahlectios
Bahlectios are large insects that float thanks to spherical cavities they inflate to remain in the air while waiting for prey. These insects feed on small living creatures that pass beneath them. Their hunting mechanism involves rapidly deflating their air cavity and plummeting onto the desired prey, impaling it with their spines and latching onto it. Subsequently, they reinflate their cavities and raise their prey into the sky, slowly sucking its blood and releasing it once they've absorbed all they need.
They are known to dwell in swarms near Bahlun plants, as they have developed a similar color and shape to these plants to camouflage themselves.
